Today is day four...and I've lost a pound a day. I'm using the menus recommended in the book...but I noticed that they allow nuts, but they aren't listed in the menu...or the sugar free popcicles...so do we just eat those as snacks when we get hungry. I know the popcicles- etc. have a limit of 70 calories per day.

Those are usually the in-between snack items, for when you get the munchies in between the larger meals .

Remember that the menus presented in the books are examples. You don't have to follow them if you'd rather not. If you want to strike out on your own, stick with the allowed foods list and create your own meals and snacks.
