It is Friday and a beautiful day here in the great inland northwest, sunshine!!! There is a chance for showers but a small one. I hope the weather holds over the weekend. Slowly but surely our road is thawing. It is quite challenging right now but if this weather holds there is hope for drying in our future!!

I calculated this morning and I've lost 13 lbs since April 2nd. Pretty unbelievable. The losses have slowed of course ... but the curve on my chart looks good. Tomorrow I will have an indulgence day to celebrate my birthday which is Sunday. I hope to limit it to just one day and not the entire weekend. Hubby and I have plans to go out to a nice steak dinner tomorrow night and I am hoping for dessert at some point during the evening. Looking forward to a nice meal out.

I have to tell you something funny. I've been treating myself to dessert everynight ... a cup of decaf with splenda and either Almond Joy or York Peppermint Patty International Delight creamer. I am really a "black" coffee drinker but something about the sweet and creamy in the evening seems to help keep me from randomly snacking. It feels decadent. Well ... I have had trouble getting to sleep a couple nights and couldn't figure out why. Duh!!! I was making regular coffee NOT decaf!!! Discovered that last night. Where my brain has been I am not sure!! Corrected the error last night and was able to sleep just fine. I only have one cup so even though I know there is some caffeine in decaf ... it's not enough to bother me.

Just wanted to check in quickly. Life is okay. Nothing spectacular, nothing awful. I hope life is treating you all well. I, like Cindy, miss having time to be here. Take care!!

Finally, good weather, Carol. I'm so happy for you. 13 lbs. WTG, lady! Oh boy on your caffeine find. Glad you found it and got some, I'm sure, well needed rest.

So glad your having better weather...and HAPPY BIRHTDAY TO YOU..my dear friend...ARIES people rock..yes they do...WOW 13 pounds is awesome and no caffeine with Almond Joy creamer..I love those too..Have to get the smaller ones and be saving with them...or I will use them up in a hurry...they are nice for a treat though...Way to go girl...Hope you can get the driveway fix and soon...have a great weekend...:O)
