No April Fooling today! Really went overboard!! Not even sure why I kept on going. If I think about it I was frustrated with the scale again today. I kicked it and swore at it!! It didn't budge - still stayed at the same number. Really stubborn!! Stupid unfriendly scale!!

Went to Costco's and sampled lots!! I ate so much there it was a full meal! One good thing was I was to full to shop and spend to much BUT Then I had an ice cream with my Mother. Not a great fueling day! I'm sure the scales will be up tomorrow. UGH!

Maggie, as a veteran of Weight Watchers, and after reading some of your journal entries, I strongly suggest you pick one day of the week to weigh-in. It is natural, especially for women, for our weight to fluctuate wildly day by day, but over the course of a week, you can more or less measure your progress. I tend to hold water weight sometimes and haven't found a surefire way to rid myself of it, but if I know if I've eaten late at night or am retaining water, I wait until another day to weigh myself. Also, always weigh in at the same time of day and make sure your scale is in the SAME place (even if you put it up between weigh-ins). My floor will weigh me at up to +/- 2 lbs in minutes depending on how the scale is oriented and where (no floor is ever completely level I think). Sounds like you are doing great with the exercise (though overdoing it and not being able to exercise at all the following day or 2 or 3...is not the way to go imho). Focus on the positive about yourself and not the negative (preaching to myself here too). If you want to swap messages daily for accountability, I'm looking for someone to do that with...Stephanie
