My Mom is making a salad, probably I won't have it because of the dressing, but cucumbers themselves are a good healthy snack ;) ate almost half of the bowl

You should try adding Lime juice and salt instead of dressing! That´s how we eat them in my country. (Guatemala) They taste so much better and are healthier! (not too much salt tho)

Good for you for eating the way you should. It would be fun to make your own acceptable dressing to have on hand for these occasions. When my husband cooks I snatch the stuff that's good for me before he adds the ingredients I won't eat. Works perfectly. For instance, he fixes chili by sauteing onions and peppers with chopped beef and plenty of seasonings. I get my portion before he adds the beans--yum, with cheese on top! Texas style for me!

Hello revvit! We often make cucumbers with salt and sour cream, which tastes good and I would totally go for it if I had free calories... and yup, you are right, I also make my own versions of some foods that my family members make ;)
