I have been in 2 casts(one on each leg ) for 6 weeks and with one cast(on right leg) for 8weeks. Hopefully, will get a heel put on cast on 2/7 so I can start weight-bearing and move around more and better. Seems a little silly to start trying to lose weight when I can;t exercize but I have to get a little control here. I'm limited in how i eat because I need to rely on my very loving husband who has been trying to manage job, household and my care for many weeks. I sense he's losing ground but he tries SO hard and as anyone knows, it's a difficult job at best. When I can, I try to ask for things to eat that are good for me and easy. Not always possible. I refuse to have him make something special for me. He is already overwhelmed. I'm trying to limit portions and choose as best as I can.
