Interesting! I would have to miss the salad cream and swap it for a bit of chilli sauce (a very little bit) - just to meet my own preferences, not saying yours are not right for you.

Looks scrumptious. x Funny thing is I love salad cream now. Used to hate it, but I ate it at school on a jacket potato when I had to do a dinner duty. So now its a food that conjures up a happy memory!

thanks yes can't eat salad without a bit of salad cream lol. ended up a bit messy as can't master what sort of lettuce I can use to actually roll these up like a wrap lol.

Little Gem or Romaine would be good - very robust. I LOVE salad cream and I love mayonnaise (as long as it isn't Helmann's - ugh). In winter a pile of steamed veggies in salad cream is a real treat with gammon or bacon. My mother used to serve both in little bowls when we had salad - very refined my mother :D!

I used little gem I think but not keen on the thick stalk that runs through most of middle. sorry fussy eater on diet not good lol.
