This has gotta be 1 of the best combinations... wholemeal bread with runny fried eggs and chorizo. if I'd had the time some home made tomato sauce would have made it perfection.

Looks savoury Jaimie, but are you showing it for other people? You said you mostly eat Paleo meals, as you have problems with grains. I'd have to take away the toast and maybe substitute with a bit of sweet potato and some mushrooms.

No I did actually eat it. I do eat mostly paleo judy but I do occasionally enjoy a peice of wholemeal toast. it's good to mix it up sometimes or the cravings will over take. plus a small price like this on a day off doesn't cause me any hassle. I like your substitutions I will have to make a note.

I hardly ever have wheat myself, but the things I tolerate best are croissants and pikelets, so it seems that where wheat is concerned the more soft and processed the better. I think I can get away with won ton wrappers and it may be worth trying thread noodles as they are quite delicate, but the heavy wholemeal breads and wraps - I have no chance. Don't know if it's gluten sensitivity or something else, but wheat in that form makes me very ill - migraine, vertigo, loss of balance, IBS, brain fog, joint pain - you name it. Presume I'm just not adapted properly to it, since I also have problems with lactose.
