It was a week of surprises. Husband surprised me with tickets to a show, but that also turned into a day-long date and 6 1/2 hours of walking in the city. TOM surprised me by showing up a bit early. MOM surprised me by coming for a visit, which always means restaurant food. We had a wonderful visit. Went to the flower show, which meant more walking, of course. Then I got surprised by food poisoning. Saturday plans were thwarted, but lots of chatting and snuggling. All in all a wonderful week. I didn't expect to be happy when I got on the scale today. Surprise!
