New start 2 days ago. Pleased to see that I've not only kept my weight stable, I've lost a few pounds on the way in the last 12 months. The fact that 2 friends have told me they're going low carb has helped in the last week - I'm sorting out eating plans and recipes from my vast collection for them so I've got no excuse for not getting back on track myself. Both my diabetes and my arthritis will thank me.

Excercise is a bit of an odd one for me because i have mobility problems and walk slowly although between 3 and 5 Km a day is normal for me. I t does help to live in a seaside town! I'm starting a dance class on Friday on the basis that I may not be able to do all the moves and may have to miss bits out but at least I'm trying. I'll get my exercise manual out from wherever it got hidden when we moved and start toning the remaining body. But this will take a few days and it's somewhere with my craft materials stash which has taken over the spare bedroom!
218.3 lb Lost so far: 17.6 lb.    Still to go: 75.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
