Well, joined weight watcher on the 11th. I have been doing pretty good staying with in my pts. limit. Although I find that I'm not using them all up and not sure if that is a good thing or bad thing. I know that are things that determine the allowable daily points value, but I have anywhere from 7-16 points left over a day.

If anyone reading this can offer any ideas or help please feel free.

Hi, my name is Laura. I would love to help you as best I can. Can you tell me your first name , so I know who I'm talking to. and your age. thx. Are the people at your W.W. you go to, are they helpful and helping you? What day of the week is your meeting/weigh in? Do you go in the day or evening? I go on mondays weigh in starts at 11:30am.I know what you mean when you say you can't eat all your points for the day. enjoy it while you can, becasue as you lose and get down to every 10 lbs. you'll need to calculate your points again. here are a few tips to have you think about that helped me. First make sure you calculated your points right. 1- take the first 2#'s of your weight 2- female of course (2) 3- for your age ( if your at the very high end for the age catagory, use that one ) 4- do the same for your height ( higher end or lower end ) 5- I do things etc..but I give myself 0 , becasue I don't think it's enough. 6- probably doesn't apply? okay, did you come out with a different total points for the day? or did you stay the same? Remember every time you hit the whole # 0 on the scale, your #1 answer will change. Then recalculate your new point total. 1- I limit my sugar to just a little in my coffee ( I use the raw sugar ) limit fruits because they have sugar ( even though it's natural sugar ( it's as they would say empty points ) 2- find foods with alot of fiber in it and choose them. ( for me I go with sweet potatoe/yam instead of white potatoe...brown rice instead of white rice, etc.) 3- drink alot of water ( it should be your new best friend ) no sodas, sweet teas, etc. 4- take a multivitian everyday. ( I use the store brand womens formula ) 5- I'm not sure how you eat. do you normally have 3 meals a day and snacks? Since you can't use all your points, I would eat at least 5 or 6 or more smaller meals spaced apart. BUT remember not to eat things that are bad for you, but healthy foods, all grain and lots of fiber. ( they say a women needs to have about 35-40 grams of fiber per day ) 6- I don't know if you do any sort of exercise? ( I have fibromyalia, and it's hard for me ) but anything even in the beginning if you haven't at all start with just 2 to 3 minutes, 2 to 3 times a day ( mon thru fri) then each week add an add'l. 2 to 3 minutes if you can. If you can't do what you can and add at least 1 min every week. It can even be walking in place, stretching your arms up and out and down as far as you can. As you see results each week, you'll feel alot better about yourself and will be able to stick to it and try and do better the following week. Patience...you didn't gain this weight ovenight, so this will take some time. But you'll be glad you did.
