I decided to get on and do fat secret because I am struggling again with gaining weight. I I lost about 50 pounds a year and a half ago and pretty much kept it off. But since I haven't had a way to "track" it I am setting unrealistic goals and expectations because technically I am at a healthy weight but having always been overweight I am starting to see all the things wrong with my body an weight.

When I first lost the weight I wanted to get to a solid size 9 or down to 135 pounds. I obviously surpassed it and was ecstatic to be a 111.9. But not at 111-112 I am devastated. During the holidays of 2010 I dropped (without trying, exercising, or keeping a log of my food/calories) down to 107. So, now I have changed my range of what is too much and what is ideal. Now 111-112 is the high/heavy end and 105 is ideal. I have also changed my eating habits and I am also struggling with that.

I eat any and everything, when I started. Then meat started tasting weird so I sought out other options to get my nutrients. I went vegan. I enjoyed it and did not feel like I was missing out. We recently relocated and because of money we needed to re-evaluate where our money was going and make some changes. We decided to see if it was the vegan way of eating that costs us so much in groceries. So, because I didn't choose to be vegan for animal rights reasons or my health didn't prevent me from eating any other way, we decided to go back to our normal eating. I was also working out a hour a day with a friend. But the scale stayed on my high end and I was an emotional roller coaster. At first I didn't think about it or make the connection that it might be my diet. I knew I felt better and had more energy. Eating vegan also allowed me not to have to write down or pay attention to my caloric intake and portions because I felt fuller when I ate, I was giving my body good food that was easy to process and digest. So, I decided instead of being stressed out about needing to workout 6 days a week, an hour a day, and expect to loose weight (because I didn't need to) I would turn my focus instead to getting my eating back on track. So here I am!
