Ok, so here I am at the start....again. LOL.

Looking back I've made quite a lot of changes to my lifestyle over the last 18 months.

I joined the Army Cadet Force as an adult instructor which gets me out of the house 1 evening a week.

I also started cycling 2.5 miles to the train station during which I had to stop and rest but after a few months didn't feel enough so tried skipping the train altogether to cycle the 12.5 miles. (25 mile round trip). Started off once a week, then towards the end of summer twice a week still cycling to the station on another 2 days. More importantly, I started really enjoying it too, it was just part of my commute into work and as commutes go, 12.5 miles down a canal path (country trail) is a good one!

Sadly it's been impossible to keep up over the winter as most of it is along a country trail which gets pretty bogged down in the mud, but at least I'm going to start from a better health position once the trail clears and I have been able to manage 5 miles a day at least 3 days a week.

My Exercise goals are to cycle to work and back at least twice a week, with either a third cycle run or a walk back from work (12.5 miles) every week once the lights start getting a little lighter.

Weight wise I want to get down to least 13st (182b) by the end of September which is 0.57lb a week which should be more than acheivable.

Last Summer I did well and while I didn't lose much weight, I changed shape a lot packing a lot of muscle into my legs and losing inches of my waist. By paying attention to the diet as well as exercise, I hope to lose weight too this coming year.
