what a comlete waste of time this stopping drinking has been. 1 month without a drink now and I'm still not losing any weight. don't for the life of me know what else I have to cut out of my diet now. gutted!
281.0 lb Lost so far: 14.0 lb.    Still to go: 60.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 1.2 lb a week

Join the club, I gave up booze and plateaued completely - gutted wasn't the word. I have no wise words or advice, just stick with your gut instinct and good luck!

I gave up sugar and ended up putting on weight. This was because I gave myself carte blanche to eat anything else I fancied in abundance eg cheese, crisps, oatcakes. Perhaps you have done something similar?

If you keep your carbs between 20 and 30 grams a day and no sugar you will see your weight going down.

Are you recording everything you consume? Are you being honest with yourself? If I don`t record it straight away I forget I ate it.
