Well I have lost 3lbs this week, so I am doing ok. I am trying to follow a low carb diet. I have trouble cutting out wine in the evening, any tips would be appreciated!
174.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 43.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Congratulations on your big loss this week! I've given up trying to cut out the wine - lol! I just have 2 small glasses (1/2 bottle) every evening. It keeps me sane and I can stick to my diet. It's not low carb because I have too much fruit but I avoid things like bread, cakes, biscuits, rice, pasta, etc, most of the time. I'm only human and sometimes have a small portion of potatoes and this evening I allowed myself a little chocolate - given as a present - but that was a very rare treat :)

Great loss, any tips on the wine... Don't buy it😁😁 ya, you didn't want to hear that! For me, drinking wine triggers me to eat more and stall weight loss. If it is interfering with your goal, get rid of it. If not, then enjoy in moderation. I know when I reach goal, I'll probably allow myself a few from time to time, but it affects me negatively on a diet. Too many food tigers for me.

Well done for losing 3lb. If you can lose that amount of weight whilst drinking the wine then why give it up? Save that for later for when you stop losing - the more naughty stuff you give up in the beginning means the more you will have to give up at the end. I am lucky if I to lose 1lb a week and I workout for 2-3 hours at the gym 3 times a week. Over the years I have cut out so much food/ treats I now have nowhere to go. So my advice is keep eating and drinking (within reason) whilst you can.

As this is the first week weigh in after a few months of not following my diet to the letter, I am pleased that I lost, but I doubt this week will be as good. Yes I am trying not to cut out too much at the beginning of my diet as it does get more difficult to lose weight later on. That is why I hoped to get some tips on finding a way to control the wine! My family meet often at week-ends, and the wine is always there. Hopefully just by posting my weekly weight, I will be encouraged to stay on track.
