Good Morning,

Feeling better this week. Just 6 days until my foot surgery. I'm really nervous and expressed that last night by finishing off the ice cream (not even 2 servings) and eating a pile of chocolate covered pretzels. Probably shouldn't have bought those pretzels. Lesson learned. I was feeling uneasy and vulnerable after the doctors appointment so I went to the grocery store and aimlessly walked for a long time. Mostly I didn't look at groceries though as I'll be staying with my parents for 2 weeks after surgery. That actually might have been the only food I bought.

So I've really been slacking recently. I want to kick it back into high gear. My motivation is mostly because I feel like a slob as of late. Just sitting on my butt, watching TV, and eating ice cream. Blah. The recovery from surgery won't help me get back into shape but I should still be able to lift and do pull ups and stuff. Probably not yoga though as that's a lot on the toes. Doctor says a 6-8 week recovery time where I shouldn't be on my feet an exceptional amount. That's going to really cut into the indoor ultimate frisbee tournaments...
