Bad Carbs!!
I can honestly see a little difference, a little change everyday. It's a great feeling! Don't get me wrong, I mean I have lost weight before on different diets and weight loss programs and I always felt wonderful too, but this time it's crazy how great I feel. I am not torturing myself by eating things I don't like or punishing myself by not allowing myself to quench my sweet tooth and have a little treat. The trick is that I do let myself have a treat once and a while but because I know I am allowed to have it, 9 times out of 10 I'll make the decision not to have that treat and go for a walk instead.

The one thing I have to start cutting back on is my carb intake. I believe that if I do this the pounds will fall off even faster than they are right now. It won't be too hard, I mean it's not like I'm going to start doing Atkins or something stupid like that, just like of meal ideas that have less carbs in them. For example, instead of eating cereal or oatmeal for breakfast I could eat a hardboiled egg and some fruit and for lunch instead of eating a sandwich everyday I could just eat a salad with a can of tuna over it. Dinner will be the biggest problem, seeing as I have to make dinner for my family and everyone loves carbs in my house. But if I don't eat hardly any carbs throughout the day and make sure that the carb I eat for dinner are good carbs then it should balance out.

I am finding myself getting more and more active (without even really thinking about it). At work I have make some healthy changes to keep me more active during the day. Changes like taking the stairs, getting up and walking to deliver a message instead of phoning, and making a point of going for a brisk walk every 2 hours. These changes are kinda silly but I feel like they are making a big change. I’m also making small changes at home to, instead to sitting on the couch all night and staring at the TV, I now pick one show per night to watch and only allow myself to sit during that show. Weather I’m playing with the kids, doing housework, going for a walk or hundreds of other things i could be doing instead of sitting on the couch.

It's time to start living my life the way i have always wanted to life my life! It's time to change and make myself a better person because of it.
