I went on holiday to the US for 3 months. I spent the first 3 weeks in Miami and lost 10 more pounds, I think purely from the humidity. After that I ate only fresh seafood and produce in the Florida Keys and so I was still doing pretty well.
But I spent a month and a half of the trip trying to eat all of my favourite American junk food and take out that I simply cannot get here. I put the 10 pounds I'd lost back on. And apparently, almost 10 more pounds on top of that.
I do not regret it. The trip was very healthy for me emotionally, concerning body image. I felt great, I ware a bathing suit in pub,ic every day at the pools and spas and oceans. I took advantage of the lovely American shopping and bought a new modest sized wardrobe for myself.
It felt empowering to go out into the world again on my own. I've been isolated since this move. I said good bye to all the old places I'd been missing so much from home, and I feel much less depressed now. I believe this will impact my health and fitness positively.
I've been home for over 2 weeks, and I still haven't counted a single calorie since I left more than 3 months ago now.
I also haven't gotten on a scale except to weigh in when I got the reminder this morning. I feel like that is healthy, but I am ready to loose some weight now.

I also adjusted my goal weight to a healthier and more realistic one. My friends back home all reminded me that every time I was in the 130 range I looked very unhealthy. There were a lot of old photos to prove the point. So I increased it by 15 pounds. I feel good about that as well.
200.1 lb Lost so far: 8.9 lb.    Still to go: 55.1 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
