Yesterday I spent with family at a baptism and birthday party. I have eaten just before the party, but since I was there for 8 hours, I knew I was going to have to eat at the party and saved all my calories to acomidate ‘party food.’ I hit the veggie platter first (without dip). Then I had a slider (and just one was enough). Soon, the abundance of sweets was stronger than my will power. I had a mickey mouse rice crispy treat that had pink frosting. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought because the frosting with the rice crispy was way too sweet (which is a pharase I never used before). I felt very sick after the treat. I didn’t eat for the rest of the party, no cake, icecream, or any of the wonderful chocolate candies given in the party favor bags. At home I had some nice salmon for dinner and felt much better. The good news is that I think that I can resists sweets now much easier than before. After being sick yesterday, I am not eager for that feeling again.
