Today is a one week from the day I started. I want to track my weight one week at a time (even though I weigh in everyday). So for my first week, it looks like I am down 2.5 pounds. I am still finding my footing and struggling with knowing what to eat. Now I feel like I really can do this. What I have to do now is put a little more effort into learning how to plan out meals/days so this whole life style change will not be so hard. Right now it is still a big challenge for me, but I am fighting tooth and nail and so far I am succeeding. I like the idea other people have had of placing rewards at intervals of success along the way. I think that is something I might incorporate.
