MerryWeather's Journal, 01 October 2011

I am so torn. Many friends on this sight say it is best to plan out all your meals. I can really see how that would be a huge benefit, but I haven’t done it yet. I wanted to have a lifestyle change, so I didn’t really want to feel like I was on a diet plan, but rather, just making better choices when it came to eating and exercising. Now that it is the weekend (my first weekend) I am thinking it might be a good idea to have my meals planned out until my body is more comfortable with the smaller portions, and until I understand food better and can make smarter choices.

So, if anyone out there has a really good daily menu (that includes a least a little bit of chocolate) please share. I am open to any and all new foods and flavors and could really use some help on how to set up my meals.

Hi there - Planning is definitely a good idea for when you just get started. After a while you won't have to put so much thought into it but right when you start you want to make sure that you have a plan. That doesn't necessarily mean that you plan on eating oatmeal for breakfast and turkey sandwiches for the rest of your life. It means, the night before think of what you would like to eat for your meals and what your snacks are. For chocolate, hershey kisses dark chocolate are tasty. I absolutely love the Skinny Cow Mint Truffle ice cream bars. You have to treat yourself so that you don't feel deprived and cheat.
