I started doing the South Beach Diet on October 1 and have been pleasantly surprised by my success. It's really not that hard to follow and cutting out those carbs the first two weeks was not difficult either. I still want them, but I know they do not ultimately make me feel better. Most of the weight has come off of my belly and butt, too. That's a wonderful feeling for a month's work! And I even had some bumps during that month, too. Went on a weekend trip to California and did reasonably well while I was gone. I even stayed away from the fast food joints and cookie place at the airport!
271.0 lb Lost so far: 7.0 lb.    Still to go: 96.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.
