So, time to start this weight loss thing again. My 8 year old saw me step on the scale the other day and sneaked a peek at my weight....and as some people might know, kids, especially boys, have trouble with their verbal filter. His look and his words hurt but it also made me realize I have not been a positive roll model to my boys when it comes to healthy life choices. I'm not good at the dieting thing so instead of putting myself on a strict diet I am going to just focus on portion control. Measuring portions, recording calories and being more active. I have two weddings that I am supposed to be in next year (2017) and have the goal of not having to buy my dresses from the plus size section. I would love to be able to buy off the rack.

That was the BIGGEST THRILL for me...I still have a ways to go...but shopping for clothes in the "regular" section instead of the "plus size" section was AWESOME!!

My only grandson is getting married in July and I too want to lose weight for the occasion. The dress I have been looking at would look horrible on me at the moment, but after a significant (20 to 25 lbs.) weight loss; I could rock it. I want to be that awesome grandmother!
