Was disappointed stepping on a different scale from the one I use at home. It showed a 4.2 lb increase, but when I got home, my own scale showed me it was just the change of scales. So my advice, Use only one scale, make sure it is zeroed. The goal is to lose my 20# from what my home scale said I was... And my waist is now 39inches. Down one inch from last week. Hurrah!
