Just take one day at a time and be persistent...I am a little more than half way thru losing 100 lbs. It has taken 7 months to get here. I have had some plateaus that I thought would never end, but they did. It is a total lifestyle makeover not just eating but attitude toward food and exercise. I was disabled to the point of not being able to walk or do daily chores around the house without tears from pain. Now I can walk 30 minutes at a time and more than 4 miles a day. Even in the cold rain. So good luck you can do it without super powers required.
