Been having health issues. Going to the doctor on Monday to check to see whether I have congestive heart failure. Been diagnosed with pre diabetes...just a fraction away from it. My doctor says HiC1 is a 7.0 to be diabetes and mine is 6.7. I can diet and exercise and lose just 20 pounds to change it around. So, that's what I want to do. Been on a CPAP for three months and my former weight was 270. Right now, the doctor says do not exercise- but after Monday, I hope to be able to do something.
263.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 123.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

I too have 6.7 reading after duplicate blood tests. My substitute doctor (I can't get an appointment with my doctor in the same clinic) said "You have diabetes, but it can be reversed in your mild case with more exercise and dietary changes." I'm a 60 y-o semi-retired English instructor (high schools & community colleges) who needs to drop from my ghastly 240# to something nearer 200#. I'd love to get below 200# again, but that may be impossible without starvation, etc. I wish you well.

Oh, one thing: I'm using a dietary plan for diabetics on WebMD, not WeightWatchers.
