hi everyone, well back at work he last 2 days just catching up. havnt done any training yet will be starting again tomorrow. Well Mexico is a fantastic place, it caters for everyone, from culture to laying on a beach. We were about 60 miles south of Cancun, in an area called Riveria Maya near Tulum. Arrived and got upgraded, what that meant was free slippers, bathrobe, 24 hour room service free of charge and 4 meals in the A La Carte restaurants. Took wife to a Japanese display restaurant for her birthday, amazed how they don't cut off their fingers. Went swimming with dolphins. spent an hour in the water with them. I don't normally like things like that because I think its a little cruel keeping them in a small pen, however the one we visited caries out dolphin rescue from tuna nets, and has a breeding programme. The are in a lagoon that is fed from the sea. Fantastic experience, so clever and so friendly. Visit the Chitchen Ista temples and ruins, its amazing how the Mayan people thousands of years ago could build the structures they did without any tools and just using their hands, also taken Into account it is in the middle of the rain forest
Went to Playa De Carman on a pub crawl and ended up in a place called Co Co Bongo. Its a nightclub, circus. cabaret all rolled into one. Words do not describe it, use either You Tube and see some clips or trip advisor to see still photos, buts an experience I will never forget. Looking forward to go again. Oh yes and lazing on a beach. Loved it. Managed to put on about 4lbs which I can live with, glad I lost a few pounds before I went so I had a few spare to play with. well that's it don't want to bore you too much. Glad to see you are getting around a bit Jo, hope everything wotks out for your knee, must admit it is a big decision to make.
