Day one of my "Get Fit & Healthy" journey. This year has been fairly difficult & as a result I have gained a bit of weight but I have ultimately decided: NO MORE EXCUSES! Being fit & healthy will make me feel better. There isn't a single bit of food out there that can keep the difficult times away. Why do we do this to ourselves? We believe that by stuffing our bodies full of food will somehow make things better but the harsh reality is that it actually causes emotional & physical harm to us. The risk of chronic illnesses alone should scare us away from over-eating & unhealthy food but the truth is how many of us are really aware of what we are putting in our bodies to begin with? How many of us are really educated about food? The best advice I have ever received is: Go Back To Basics. Eating healthily doesn't need to be complicated. A year from now you would have wished you had started today. Just do it!
