Yesterday, I started the Couch to 5K program from the NHS and did Day 1 of Week 1 running session: 5 minutes brisk walk to warm up and then alternating 60 seconds of running with 90 seconds of walking. I hadn't done (much) exercise for years and felt knackered and had to use sheer willpower to complete the session. But I did and felt elated afterwards. I am having a rest today as recommended by the program and my thighs are a bit sore but strangely, I am looking forward to the session tomorrow. There are three in total this week and they are meant to built up stamina gradually.

Diet Calendar Entry for 08 September 2015:
