I have definitely dealt with the same thing that you are experiencing. And the more I ate, the more I wanted, and nothing really satisfied. Believe it or not, the more you focus on the eating, the more control it has over you. Also, some foods are self-perpetuating; in other words, the more you eat of them, the more cravings you get. I have found that the best thing you can possibly do, aside from changing the foods you actually eat, is to find something else to focus on in your life. Stay busy - find a new hobby. Don't feel compelled to eat on schedule. Eat when you get hungry, eat particularly slow, and quit when you begin to feel comfortably full. After only a couple days of that, your stomach will shrink and you will begin to get comfortably full after eating less and less. You can make this a habit, and find that you can become full by eating so little, that you get a lot more selective about what you want to pass your lips. But, it is very easy to stretch the stomach back out and repeat the endless cycle of binge eating. So, don't do it.

Well, I don't know what anyone else thinks of Hi Protien Lo carb Whey drinks and to be perfectly honest I don't really care because I have spent a lifetime of yo yo dieting ~ I suffer from terrible depression ~ which came first I wonder, the chicken or the egg ~ I live alone after losing a perfectly reasonable husband and my children grew up and left home ~ I love sitting up till all hours playing on my computer eating all sorts of rubbish ~ no, not eating, gorging 'cos I simply love food ~ any kind of food as long as it's junk ~ and I think if we look at all of us fatties that is the catalyst ~ we're just pigs ~ there's so much awesome takeaway, pre packaged, fat filled junk out there that tastes soooo very good that we can't get it into ourselves fast enough. The Kgs lost from the last "diet" start creeping on and we silently allow it to happen in kgs till we notice we've had a 5kg increase on what we were but our clothes still fit then another couple of kgs becomes the next ten & slowly we've grown back through the clothes that we kept from last time we were fat 'cos they kind of disguised it a bit and now we're ashamed and buying more clothes because we're bigger than ever before and we are depressed so we refuse invitations to go anywhere because we have nothing decent to wear & we stay at home every night & weekends and eat some more and get more and more anxious because we know it's out of control ~ WE ARE OUT OF CONTROL ~ ARE WE CRAZY???? How do we stop ~ well, I don't know about you folks but I went to my Chemist & got some Hi Protien Lo Carb Whey Protien powder and the instant I started on it those hideous cravings for junk food went away and I then took that opportunity to rake up all of the quick & easy hi protien recipes I could find so that I could virtually have a meal ready to eat in ten minutes. And I immediately joined the "lose 24lbs in 12 weeks challenge", "Stop sugar in six weeks", "over 60's with more than 50lbs to lose" and "exercise at least 5 days a week group" ........ Now I am committed to all of those pledges and have remained so for 30 days, I've lost 6.5kg out of a possible 30.5 ..... talking to people here who are going through exactly what you are ~ who feel as crazy as you do will help you ..... drink water, go for a good long walk with your water & get an MP3 player to go with you, listen to talk back or your most relaxing music, dance ...... you can do it love ..... just take a look at all of the people on here working the program ..... none of us are any different to you ~ just set yourself a goal and knuckle down a GO FOR IT ..... All the best ...... Ciao for now Jilly.beans 😘

I am not affiliated with at ALL with what I am about to suggest, but friends of mine had success with these.... 1) Raw Emotions - a lot of heal & mindset info & tips, written by Angela Stokes who lost about 140 pounds after many years of binge eating AND KEPT IT OFF! 2) Jessica Ortner who does a form of stress release around food issues utilising the science of acupressure (Emotional Freedom Technique). Also search youtube for videos about how the food industry tricks people into becoming addicted to fattening food for their own profits. There are lots of these films , very educating & inspiring!
