A friend emailed me about the BWLW July challenge that is all about exercising regularly (see http://cdn4.blackweightlosssuccess.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/July2015ChallengeCalendar.pdf?e1b67d) and I started it today. INow I tried, but was too out of shape to do a full 30 mins of cardio in one shot, but I was able to do 20 mins including a warm up and cool down. This evening I'm going to do another 10 - 20 mins of cardio.
In the past I would have been so disgusted that I couldn't do the full 30 mins of cardio that I would have given up, but today I was able to come up with a more realistic plan. I'm just going to break it up the exercise into two parts so that I can do it. I've been working on dropping the all-or-nothing attitude to be more practical, forgiving, and gentle with myself. So far so good.
