Went out last night on a 21st birthday bash to an Indian restaurant. Too much food and beer. Dare not get on the scales. Feel I have let myself down.

Don't be daft :) get back on the wagon today and you will be fine. Don't be so hard on yourself when you slip up once in a while as the important thing is acknowledging it's not a regular thing and getting back to it. We all do this once in a while.

Life goes on even when we are on a diet, it is important to relax and enjoy yourself from time to time without feeling guilty otherwise you will resent the diet and fail. So I hope you had a good time, you will be fine as long as you eat sensibly most of the time. :)

I alow myself to relax and enjoy food when its a birthday or holiday, I don't feel guilty about it. I put on 5lbs while in Rome last week, already lost 2lb of it. I feel this is a much healthier view. If we are to maintain our new lifestyle for the rest of our lives we need to allow ourselves to enjoy food once in a while, obviously we don't do it every day but for a special occasion go out enjoy yourself and don't feel guilty. I have a theory that when we over eat once in a while our bodies get used to the higher calories so when we get back on track it can actually help us to keep loosing. You are doing great!

you're allowed time off, just don't let it discourage you from getting back on track!

I agree with everyone....it's when you beat yourself up and don't get back on track that you let yourself down. You have done such a fantastic job over the last two months you are going to be hitting your target in no time at all - well done and keep going!!!
