I've read your profile and saw that you was not getting results on the LCHF diets. Google and read about the 5:2 Fast Diet. Combine it with Intermittent Fasting where u only eat 1st meal at midday(skip breakfast but drink green tea, water of coffee) and I am sure you will see results :)

Nikkigurl the IF on its own may not show results on the scale since you lose fat but also get lean at the same time so you could for example lose 1kg of fat/water but put on 500g lean mass so the scale will only show a 500g drop in weight and sometimes even show a higher reading because muscle tissue is heavier than fat tissue. When you use IF as part of the 5:2 Fast Diet it will allow you to lose weight/fat without going on a full out Low Carb High Protein eating plan. I've found that once one sees the scale shows a drop in weight then it gives you more motivation and eventually u will start lowering carbs and increasing protein in the future. I've experimented with many diet plans but I've concluded that even a Low Carb High Protein eating plan cannot work if there is no calorie deficit. Those who lose fat/weight on such diets do it by luck in that they consumer lesser calories than before because the protein keeps them feeling fuller for longer therefore overall daily calories are reduced but some people who also follow such a diet may not lose weight because they still consume excess calories from high protein food. I'm so fascinated with my 4 weeks of results that now I am going to attempt a 4:3 Fast Diet by doing 3 days a week as a 600 Calorie maximum fast day. All the best to all of you and I hope everyone finds their solution that works for them and please share your experiences so everyone can learn together :)
