I started NutriSystem this week. I got the Fast 5 pack at Sam's Club. I like the options. I've requested the lower sodium plan. It's kind of absurd the amount of sodium they use, which is why I've stayed away from this diet, but this is one of the few to use natural sweeteners like Monk Fruit and Stevia. I've spent most of the week watching the sodium intake because of the first day I had over 3000 mgs of sodium. The daily recommended is 2300 mgs, a low sodium lifestyle is 1500 mgs.

I feel if I get as close as I can to 1500 mgs, things will be okay. The sodium makes water-weight a challenge.

Unrelated, the shakes before and after lunch are a nice touch. The craving crusher is REALLY GOOD! The pasta laden dinners however concern me, but if their balance works then groovy. I expect to lose a lbs by tomorrow.

I haven't updated my weight, because I went though my girly-time of the month and well gained a little back and I refuse to do the "up-down" tracking on this. So expect some changes this week.
