Yesterday I got a huge basket of hand-me-down clothes from a friend who has lost quite a bit of weight herself. Tops. Blouses. Sweatshirt. Pants. Even a really nice corduroy jacket. Some of them were too big for me and some of the pants will fit me when I have lost a bit more weight. I was so thankful for the donation because our money is really tight and I wasn't sure how I was going to be able to buy any new clothes. This will get me through the next 30 or 40lbs. I even found an old bra in my drawer that fits me. Must have bought it thinking I would lose weight. And socks fit no matter how thin I get so all is good.
I stayed the same today but I kind of expected that after such a big loss yesterday.
Saw my daughter in the grocery store yesterday and she invited me over to her house for lunch this coming Wednesday. Looking forward to catching up on all the family gossip and news.
Husband and I both have the day off today so we are going to go to Walmart and do a bit more Christmas shopping. I am getting my 5 grandchildren dvd's as they don't really need toys and are big movie watchers. My daughters have given me a list of movies they are interested in having. Hoping to find them today. Also have to go pay a bill and drop off the clothes that didn't fit to the donations box.

Our money is really tight as well so I'm going with 3 pairs of jeans (stonewalled, indigo, and black) and 1 black jean skirt and a knit one with an elastic waistband that I can take in. I'm living with my old turtlenecks and sweatshirts that are too big, they are more flexible. I cleaned out my closet this morning. I had 4 sizes of clothes and they will go to a mission we support. They have a thrift store and I know how hard and expensive large clothes can be so these should be a blessing to some women. I really don't need a lot of clothes. At home I live in 3 nightgown with flannel jammies underneath in winter. We don't have much heat. Again, shivering should be in the exercise list lol.
