I've been purposely eating a high fat high protein breakfast with just a little bit of hummus and it's so counter-intuitive but I have not been hungry since breakfast. I'd say 6 hours have past. When I have fast carbs, I'm hungry all day. I've been looking at "metabolic typing" and I come out as type A which is a protein metabolizer. They do better with fat, salts, and protein. So far, it's proving to be true for me but I have yet to go to the gym and see if I have the same amount of power to lift.
