Well I feel a lil encouraged today. I went to the doctor Friday and I found out that I had lost 3lbs. That makes a total of 8lbs since I orginally started making changes, and that was about 2 weeks before I started on here. I wish it could have been more but I guess ever little bit counts huh? I did buy a pair of inserts for my shoes and let me tell you it's going to take some getting use to. I am very picky on how my shoes fit so any little change just throws me all out of whack, but I have to say today is the first time I used them and I can tell it helps my ankle and leg. It's not even hurting which is VERY shocking because while I did jog the time constantly I ran enough short intervals to add up to 30 minutes!!!!!! That is amazing because a month ago the thought of getting on a treadmill to walk was foreign enough but to run well it's not something I thought I would be able to do quick. I'm going keep working on my short intervals until they become long periods of time. For those of you who do read this if you are having any problems with your feet, ankles, or legs try the Dr Scholls athletic. They are made to absorb the extra shock. This saying a lot for to like them because a few years ago I had feel and severly sprained my right ankle, and on my left ankle I broke it, stretched my achilles tendon, and tore the ligaments off the top. The injures on both of my ankles happened all in the same fall. Up until now I have been extremely leary about running but now I have hope that I may be able to without worry.
