Ok, so I'm feeling really discouraged today:( I had to skip the treadmill yesterday because the weather was just horrendous here. Lightening, rain, wind, and oh yeah TORNADO warnings. I had to keep my treadmill unplugged for the majority of the day because I didn't want it struck by lightening. Today I decide to get back to my routine and jus by skipping a day my leg and ankle is killing me. It started when I began walking and got worse once I added the treadmill. After a few days however after a while on the treadmill it would get better and I could tolerate the pain and go longer on my time. Well now it's like I'm starting back over. This can't be right. My muscle from my ankle into the outerside of my calf is just on fire it's burning so bad. I didn't even go but half of my regular time. If it's going to be this painful it's going be a very long journey. I know they say no pain no gain but good Lord this is rediculous. I am goi to try and make a few changes though. I'm going to go find some really good insoles for my shoes and see if that works. I am also going to wear a lace up brace when I hurt my other ankle a few years back for extra support, and as a final thing I'm going to try and stretch really good before exercising. I'm hoping these things will help as well as losing some weight to help lighten the load my ankles have to bear. It's funny though my other ankle is the one I broke a few years ago and it feels great. Even though I'm in pain I'm not going to give up....my health depends on it.
