Had Bariatric surgery gastric bypass on June 17th . They forgot to connect my bowels or small intestine so 2 days later on June 19th I was rushed back into emergency to fix the problem. So with that being said I was cut on twice which made me even more sick and sore. Got released from the hospital Sunday June 22 came home weighing 252 lbs I'm thinking from the 2 sets of gases. went back to the hospital ER 2 days later because I had leakage by one incision . I guess it wasn't from the incision and no infection but my potassium was low so I got some potassium stuff that was really gross . Then an IV in which they couldn't find a vein because I'm a hard stick anyway it seemed as if the nurse was trying to push a huge needle into a tiny vein in my wrist which hurt like heck. They ended up getting a vein ultrasound to find veins after sticking me alot of times , they found a deep vein and it came out and left my arm really swollen and sore after most of the fluids drained in my arm. As soon as they took it out they sent me home and said put a warm compress on it. I'm starting to feel a little better but gosh it's been hell , i've always slept on my side and now i can't it hurts and feels as if I'm crushing something. Another thing is smells make me sick even my own deodorant . Has anyone that has ever had this surgery done or known of anyone who has who has had these issues please let me know . Also at this point I can't stand or walk long . And gosh I wish I could have a big glass of ice water
