I spoke to my coach, who has a good background in nutrition as well, about the fact that I've mostly hit a standstill. She suggested that a large part of the reason I have such a slow metabolism is that I may be intolerant of a certain food and not realize it, so over the coming weeks I am going to phase all of the common intolerance foods out of my diet - that is:
Corn Dairy Eggs Peanuts Soy Refined sugar Wheat Artificial sweeteners
All of those have to go. Phasing out peanuts is going to be painful; I LOVE peanuts. But, luckily, once I hit zero (or almost zero, since it's difficult to avoid sugar) intake of these things, it's hopefully only for a month, and I can replace them with other nuts. After that month I will start adding things back one at a time and see if I catch something I just shouldn't be eating.
