Zero down from Yesterday's weight; however, 1.8lbs down from a week ago =)

We woke up at 6am yesterday (after I didn't get to sleep until 2am, tired!) and loaded the boys in the car and scrammed to StL. Got there right as it opened at 9am. We missed one of our turns because we weren't paying attention after being on the highway too long, so that was really good timing. Seeing and petting the stingrays, the carousel and entrance to the Children's Zoo is all free in the first hour the zoo is open. So we got to do all of those and made it to the Children's Zoo about 15 minutes befor the end of the hour. It started raining (and being in the 50s that made it pretty cold) around 11am as we left the Children's Zoo so we ate lunch inside the Laekside Cafe. It was still raining when we finished so we rode the Zooline Train (which is covered) befor going to our fittings- hoping it would clear up. Rain got worse, so we ended up going back to the zoo and doing all the inside exhibits. We didn't really get to see any of the walk around outside exhibits, but it was still a lot of fun. I'm really glad we got up and went early so we had a couple hours while it was still nice.

Since we didn't get to walk around outside as much as I expected I lowered my exercise for the day from what I had projected. I think I still rang it in about 250 calories under output. We did really well with eating while there, because we took our food and sandwiches. However, we got home pretty late so picked up pizza on the way to our house. I am horrible about just eating one or two pieces of pizza. So I ended up in the 1500s for the day.

Really hopping to see the 140s in the next week or two =)

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Spending time with family is always a priority. Pizza is hard for a lot of us, I think. I can eat just one or two pieces, but it still ends up higher calories than my normal dinner. As long as it's the exception, not the rule, I know it will all work out. I'd rather lose weight a little slower but make changes that will last me forever.

Pizza is insanely hard for me. I have been practicing mindful eating a moderation for fourteen months now, but I still find it impossible not to chow down a whole pizza all by myself. 1500 isn't bad though, glad to hear you had a good day! :-)
