Finally went to Trader Joe's today. That place is insane and the parking is horrible! BUT it was worth it. I got my coconut oil spray (refined but that's fine for the amount used) and some coconut oil in a jar. No more ordering online! The price difference was well worth the drive and parking lot and the insanity inside that place. I got some other things there also that I wanted but was NOT overpaying for. Their prices were reasonable for the items I got. I did try their potato pancakes but only a tiny piece and it didn't send me into cravings. I skipped the wine samples. :( I wasn't going to push my luck. I hope the chicken sausage I got is good. I usually get apple chicken sausage by Adells (think that's it) but it was 3 dollars less per pack so I'm willing to try it.
I skipped my meds this morning for my back so I'm in a little bit of pain but since I wasn't familiar with where I was driving I decided it was worth it. Time to take them now before it gets worse. They still interfere with weight loss but not as bad as they did the first couple of days.

Congrats on shopping at TJs! When I look at my food diaries, I realize that probably 90% of what we eat comes from TJs. As far as the sausage, here in CA we get their Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage and love it! We get Aidells occasionally too in the various flavors. For a basic chicken sausage though, I LOVE TJs.

Oh, and depending on how you're eating, we always get a couple of their premade salads. There's generally something there for any/every diet. They're great for "oh gads, I have to eat something NOW". They're also great for when you need to bring a lunch to work.

Thanks! It was their sweet Italian chicken sausage I got. I only glimpsed the salads, too many people standing in front of them. TJs just opened less than a month ago for the area. March 14th I think. Otherwise I would have to drive 4+ hours round trip to the next closest one. Not going to happen. I was waiting until the grand opening crowds died down. I'll probably drive there about once a month. It's only 15 miles away but the traffic makes it feel so much longer or is that driving for 45 minutes?

I understand! We have a TJs locally in our town but it's only been open a few years. Prior to that we drove to one about 45 minutes away and stocked up once a month or so. Something to know about TJs too - you can be a little adventurous. If you get something you don't like, they'll take it back and refund your $$ no questions asked. I've only done it three times in all the years I've been shopping there but they're always great about it. Enjoy your sausage!
