New Low Calorie Cookie Recipe!!

Wow, this is an awesome recipe! I found one on another site for low calorie cookies and I substituted a few things to make them even lower in calorie and they turned out to be a dream come true!!

2 tbsp of butter
1/8 cup of mashed banana
3/4 cup of flour
1/2 cup of mini chocolate morsals (I used target brand) Mini is a must!!
1 egg WHITE
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup of SPLENDA BROWN SUGAR Blend
2 tsp vanilla

preheat oven 375
spray pam on cookie sheet
1. Cream together splenda brown sugar, banana and butter.
2. Add vanilla and egg white--- note: the mixture will look a little funny because of the splenda, just keep mixing!!
3. Add flour, salt, baking soda
4. Flip in choc chips

5. The key here is portion size!! Make the cookies more like drops, about 1 tbsp a piece.
6. Bake for about 5 minutes until edges are very light brown

It made 34 drop sized cookies that were oh so yummy, and about 25 calories a piece!!
The batter is a small amount once made, because the cookies are supposed to be very small.

They don't "melt" and flatten while baking like regular cookies, so flatten them out some and I am actually considering leaving out the baking soda next time i bake them to see what happens.

NOTE: If you make them bigger, the calories per cookie go up!

My kids loved them, my husband adored them and my sister in law said they didn't even taste like they were "diet"!

MMmmmmmMMMMmmmmm

Remember to control your portion!!
