40.8% bf 42.1% tbw

The increase in my total body water is a great sign that I am not losing lean muscle mass. It should continue to climb. My goal is 52% tbw. Having red meat today at lunch...expecting low loss tomorrow. Moroccan chicken tonight and looking forward to crab cakes and black peppered shrimp.

two hours of yoga today....approx 700 calories, will put that in my exercise journal. Lots of comments from a trainer where I teach Pilates about calories in and out...eat 1800 calories to lose weight. Tried it, tried all manner of calorie adjustment up and down....no results. This may be exactly what my body needs to trim and reset. I think I was designed to work for hours in the field...Mexican peasant stock. If I am not burning thousands of calories per day, my body just sits at one weight.

I am maintaining a higher protein intake....probably slowing my weight loss. That's perfectly all right with me. Keeping muscle and trimming excess fat is what I am looking to do. So far this is working.
176.6 lb Lost so far: 3.7 lb.    Still to go: 26.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
