Today I didn't get all my food in. We ate a late breakfast and around 3 pm, we went snow tubing and got back after 5. I was really hungry and used my second lite bar to snack on while I made "lunch," which was a chicken stir fry with zucchini and green onion and mushrooms over brown rice. And then about 9 pm I still had a fruit and dairy, so I made a blueberry smoothie using skim milk, blueberries and 1 splenda packet. I still have a protein and veggie, but I don't think I'll get it in tonight. I will try and plan the times better, but at least I didn't cheat!

Good for you! Sometimes I miss meals too - it sucks because I know that I will actually hang on to weight if I do skip foods :( Anyway, Kudos for not cheating! I resisted the temptation of Pizza Hut today - it was an ongoing struggle and still is, actually since there is STILL pizza left! Right now I am eating a pink lady apple, 25 almonds, coconut lite bar, and 2 white cheddar rice cakes! Nummy! Its like diet munchies!!!

Thank you! I ended up having 12 walnut halves as the protein while watching a movie with my husband last night, so I only missed 1 veggie and it kept me from having any of the cheetos he was eating! And good for you for resisting the pizza! I have a theory that if I can resist altogether, I'll be okay, but if I cave, the flood gates sometimes open and I'll have more and more. It's hard and especially if there's people (husband) who sits and snacks and munches and OFFERS to share! The diet munchies are a great idea to keep on plan while satisfying that urge. I find in the evening I may have a fruit and dairy, so I'll whip up a shake in the blender with 1 splenda packet my fruit and 1c skim milk...filling and sweet and satisfying and much better than cheetos!
