This is day 3 and things are getting easier - I am less irritable and craving sugar less and less. I feel really calm and a lot lighter. I am definitely less sluggish and I haven't had a single stomach ache or any heartburn since I started! This to me are good signs that my body is accepting the diet. We will see.
Induction phase of Atkins selection of food is very limited, but I have found that I am actually getting a little more creative with my food. The Helmann's Mayonnaise recipe for parmesan chicken is DELICIOUS AND LOW CARB! Yay! Also, I am going to slowly incorporate recipes form this website and the Atkins website into my grocery shopping so pretty soon I will have all I need to whip up something yummy.
I have another 11 days until my official weigh in (but you know I am going to sneak some time on the scale in before that :) hopefully I can drop a few of these pounds so I can keep up my good attitude :)
