June was a sucky month for me. 😝 Not only did I have my Birthday and my Mom's bday to deal with,!i also had to help my soon to be sister-in-law's family w preparations for an engagement party. It was just too much temptation for me. And after you break down and have sugar again what do you crave? Exactly! More sugar! And then sometimes when the sugar isn't just right, next in line is a tie for salty/crunchy. Or both. It's an absolute miracle that I lost 5 lbs last month. A gift from God. There's no other way to explain it guys. But I'm definitely not gonna take it for granted. In fact, yesterday, I got right back up on the horse. Or the bandwagon. Or whatever you wanna call it. No more of the crazy stuff I've been eating over the past few weeks. Back to healthy healthy healthy and oh, did I mention healthy? Eating. I know my body is gonna thank me. Because no matter how good all that bad stuff tasted, my body felt like crap the whole time I was ingesting it. Yeah, just throwing out a 2 dollar word, just so you know I'm not ignorant. Just sorely lacking in will-power. But I've got my Scaaary "before" pics up on my fridge, on my cabinets, and hanging from my rear-view mirror. Tell me I'm not dedicated. lol. But I'm going to earn that 5 lbs that was so obviously given to me last month. Happy 4th of July everybody! And happy healthy eating!
