Things are going well. Not that weight loss is the most important thing at this point, but it seems to be getting easier. I have been eating lots of delicious healthy things (no "real" breakfast but something fatty, amazing grilled veggie salads for lunch with some protein, meat and veggies for dinner). But I have also been snacking on a decent amount of nuts, cheese, coconut milk, some fruit... things that sometimes seem to have halted my progress. I'm trying to not go crazy with the nuts and things, but I have to admit I am eating more than a completely minimal amount.

I also think I am looking stronger and leaner. My new workouts with Alex are great - they are intense, involve lots of pull ups, and are different for each day of the week.

Having the FitBit has been really cool and interesting. I definitely average more than 10,000 steps a day, which is great. But it makes it so apparent how sedentary non-workout non-experiment days are. If I'm working primarily on my computer, I can be WAY under 10,000... even under 5,000. It makes me feel like: I don't EVER want to be under 10,000 steps a day... not because that particular number means anything, but because it feels wrong. I can look at how many steps I've taken over the course of the day, and when I see hardly anything over the course of hours, it makes me realize how crazy it is to not be moving. And I feel so great when I'm moving around: walking, working in the kitchen, etc.

I'm going to go to a gastroenterologist next week. Digestion issues haven't been particularly bad, but Alex has been nagging me to make an appointment for months.
