BNFineGirl's Journal, 30 May 2013

Yesterday was going really well. We grilled chicken, mushroom, and pepper shish-kabobs for supper. They were super yummy! We tossed the chicken in 1/2c. parmesan cheese, 1 pkg of dry zesty Italian dressing mix and 1 t. of garlic powder. The recipe says it's only 200 calories per serving! Protein and low cal, :)
Then I fell of the wagon and hit my head...
My son decided to make a double batch of no-bake cookies. The recipe says it's a nutritious snack but I have my doubts! I have no will power!! I ate 5 of the stupid things...they were good...but you know you have a problem when you are trying to wipe the spot where the cookie was siting clean, so that no one knows you ate one, or two, or FIVE!!!!
Stupid things were still on the table this morning...and more made their way into my mouth...cursed lack of willpower. I think I undid all of my progress. :( Trying to drink as much water as I can to flush them out but I doubt that's really working.
I didn't get to exercise yesterday because of the weather but I brought my tennies to work today. Hopefully I can walk between raindrops!
Back on track starting NOW!

Don't give up. I had two Reese's peanut buter cups yesterday and woke up reaching my goal weight this morning. Sometimes I think our bodies are better judges than we are on what it actually feels like it NEEDS on certain days.

@ BNFineGirl, thank You. That's only a mini goal but happy to have reached it. I still have 40 more pounds to go before I reach my REAL GOAL. Slowely but surely.....I'll get there this year.

I think you are going about it in the best possible way. I too have mini-goals. 5 pounds at a time. That way I don't get too discouraged.
