Overslept on Thurs. Had a cup of coffee for breakfast and took Maiya to her Therapy dog visit. I ended my day by overeating all evening. I refuse to self-destruct. Looking back at this episode with a little planning I could have put a protein bar and a piece of fruit in my bag before I ran out the door. I wouldn't have been so hungry when I got home and I would have avoided overeating all evening. This challenge is really working for me. I'm beginning to understand the concept---it's not so much about losing weight as it is about learning to eat healthy and accept yourself. Once you can do that the weight will come off. Maybe not as fast as I would like it to but at a rate that I can achieve my goal and not regain it. Love to you all and hope you reach your goal. Daiji

Accepting yourself is so difficult. I found myself reacting in anger and belittling myself this week when I didn't follow the plan I wanted. I feel like I am learning, but the actual doing is so hard.
