Watch those hills. I think that's how I strained something in my chest. May be from breathing too hard or from the bad air quality. Doesn't it feel great to be in pants you haven't been able to wear for awhile. I just wore a pair of jeans over the weekend that I haven't had on for months. By the end of the day, the butt and legs were actually feeling baggy. I'm looking forward to doing some serious outdoor exercising as soon as this weather breaks. Do you have a lot of humidity where you live, too? That's what gets me. It's not the heat as much as it is the humidity. Tomorrow I'll walk in the morning and cut the grass after work. That's when I'm opting to go back on my allergy med. It's just an over the counter med but I'm still not fond of taking it. Bad enough I have to take Synthroid, cholesterol med., and hormone replacement therapy. All this within the past two years! I have a desk job too and, to me, it feels so good to get out there and walk.

I live in York Pa and humidity can be pretty bad but I have walk thru 5 heat waves this summer. The air can be a tad thick. I would walk twice a day if I could...not enough time in the day. Luckily the only health issues I have is restless leg at night. I work for an orthopaedic practice but its a satellite office so I'm not so busy most days I only have a doctor for like 3 hours in the morning. Sometime I exercise right at my desk or out in the waiting room:) This week the weight is really dropping off for me...happy about that. My sister told me the other day that I'm going to hit a wall at some point and stop losing so I'm doing what every I can to make sure that doesn't happen. I'll tell you what...I'm not looking forward to being trapped in the house all winter. I don't have a treadmill or anything so that's going to be tough. Where are you from?
